Indiantown's Building Division says plainly that painting, residential and commercial, needs no building permit, and neither does pressure washing. The same list allows stucco repair under 25 square feet without one. Larger repairs found during prep are a separate question for the Village.
Color is a design question here, not a permit one. In the Downtown, Neighborhood Mixed-Use, Village Mixed-Use and Canal Mixed-Use districts, the Village asks new or substantially redeveloped commercial buildings for one light main color, pastels allowed, no dark or bold colors, no more than three colors, and a scheme that fits the neighbors.
New nonresidential and multifamily construction in the Village must also use low-VOC or no-VOC paints and coatings. Inland Indiantown sits away from the salt, so its walls are more about sun, heat and rain, and metal buildings need attention for heat on their sunny sides.

Is a building permit required for an Indiantown commercial repaint?
No building permit, according to the Village's list. Color rules still apply in its mixed-use and downtown districts for new or substantially redeveloped buildings, so check those before changing the scheme.
How is the cost of a commercial paint job worked out?

EPA's renovation rule covers work that disturbs it in pre-1978 housing and in child-occupied rooms such as a day care, and that work goes to a certified firm using lead-safe practices. We check the building's age and use first, and any abatement is coordinated with a licensed firm.
How long will the painting take?
We set the schedule after the walk, not before. It depends on the surfaces, the repairs found once the walls are washed, the summer rain, the access, any color approval and the hours the building or town allows. Instead of a date nobody controls, you get the sequence and the dependency behind each step.
